Celebrating a Classic: Charlotte’s Web

October 21, 2012

Sixty years ago this month a classic was born, “Charlotte’s Web” by E.B. White. The story of Wilbur the pig and his unlikely friend Charlotte the spider and help from Templeton the rat is unforgettable as it was a part of every early reader’s life. For the vast majority of little readers who did not grow up on a farm, this was a unique opportunity to learn about a different kind of world. Recognized as the top selling children’s paperback, this beautiful story teaches lessons about helping each other, even when it seems like your help won’t be enough.

Here’s to helping one another, regardless of how much of an impact you think you can have.

Little by little,

Kiki
