500 Books Distributed Today!

August 26, 2010

This morning was clear and beautiful here in the Pacific Northwest, sunny with a little crisp breeze hinting of fall coming around the corner. It was the kind of morning that makes you remember heading back to school. The days are still warm with summer ending but classes begin and fall is coming. It was a perfect day to get some books to our partner programs.

Books being sorted for our partner programs

One of our first partner programs in this area was Vancouver Early Childhood Center. With your support we donated 800 books to VECC this past school year and this morning we brought 200 more to kick off the school year.

New partnerships have also been forged in the area. We’ve started supporting Education Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) which includes programs like Healthy Start, Head Start and Infant Toddler Early Intervention. EOCF supports 2,000 low income families in four SW Washington counties. Today they picked up 300 books to kick off our new relationship, we’re so excited to be working with EOCF this year.

Relationships like these with programs that help little learners get off on the right foot are the heart of what we do at Court’s Kids and are all possible because of support from you. Thank  you, friends. Only with your continued donations and help with spreading the word Court’s Kids can we add more programs and schools like these. We’re on a mission to make this year even more successful than the last.

Little by Little,

Kiki
