Court’s Kids in Illinois

My wife Lindsay and I just concluded the Court’s Kids gift wrapping “national tour” out here in Illinois. Lindsay’s sister, also named Courtney, joined us.  It was great to have her help! We certainly enjoyed talking with people about Court’s Kids, which has grown from an idea to an active organization making a real impact.  (You absolutely have to see this photo if you haven’t already.)

Naturally, being in a bookstore, we ran into teachers.  As we briefly described Court’s Kids, one person immediately told us the story we hear so often, about teachers buying books and other resources out of their own pocket, to do whatever it took to engage kids.  When it comes to special needs education in particular this is what it’s all about. Whatever it takes.  We saw needs and opportunities  here in Illinois and we look forward to expanding out here as we build our organization.

Little by Little,

Lee
