200 Books Ready to Roll

Books Being Prepped

Books Being Prepped

Today I unpacked a box of about 200 books geared toward the pre-school age group to prep them for their little journey from Portland to Klamath Falls. Our contact at the pilot school wanted to help us get the message out and asked about some sort of flyer or sticker they could put in the book. So, I had some temporary labels made up for this inaugural donation to our pilot school. We are in the midst of developing our logo and corporate identity with Nadine at Grow Design so this won’t be our permanent book label. But, we wanted to test something out and see how it worked.

The label is simple for now but gets the message across. It simply says, “I’m One of Court’s Kids. This Book Donated By Court’s Kids. http://www.courtskds.org” We wanted the labels to be unobtrusive, not taking away from the book or the experience for the child but getting the message out.

As I was placing the stickers on the books I was so excited about the stories, remembering my own experience with some of these classics. Thinking of getting these books into the hands of our little friends in Klamath Falls is so exciting I can barely stand it. More to come as we follow our first box of books to our pilot school!

Book labels, LOVE IT!~ What a nice way to gain discrete recognition and exposure.
I’d better get cracking on the new identity….

Thanks Nadine! We’re so excited to be working with you and I can’t wait to have the official labels printed with our new logo. You’ve done an amazing job so far in capturing what we’re all about 🙂
